The effectiveness of the Delphi program can be seen in the results obtained with
students. Our Lower School students take the California Achievement Tests (CAT)
annually, regularly scoring at least one grade level ahead of age and quite often
two and three grade levels ahead. But the results that mean the most to us can be
found in the attitudes and behavior of our students, as well as in the enthusiasm
and support from our parents. We invite you to find out for yourself what our students
and their parents say they have gained from the Lower School program.

Success Stories from Parents
"I consider it a privilege to be able to send my daughter to Delphi Academy. I know
that she is getting the best possible education. I know this because this is the
only school that has Study Technology.
"I was first introduced to Study Technology when I was a Physics Major at U. Mass.
I was an average student. I got B's and C's, but I was struggling. In 1976, my junior
year at U. Mass, I learned the Study Technology that is taught at Delphi. I became
a much better student. My level of understanding increased dramatically. My senior
year I aced all my upper level Physics courses. I also became a much faster and
more efficient student. What was amazing to me was that not only would I have my
homework done on time, a miracle in itself, but I would have it done before it was
due, often the day it was assigned, it would take me less time to do it and it would
be perfect.
"Now my daughter is learning this same Study Technology at the age of 6. She is
bright and happy and enjoys learning. She is way ahead of where I was as a student
at her age. I know her future is bright."
R.L.
"Delphi Academy molds well rounded, self-confident leaders with ethics. We never
thought such a school existed."
A.V. & C.V.

"This is my child's 2nd year Delphi and I am becoming more pleased by the day. Delphi
is a school where my child is gaining a first rate education. I feel a great sense
of security that I am leaving him with people who truly care for his education and
well being. Delphi is a school where everyone knows each other and your child is
not lost in the shuffle. I want my child to be happy and succeed in life and I truly
feel that Delphi is a great part of the plan."
S.F.
"Winston and I are very pleased with Delphi. Emma had enrolled late in your camp
program and was happy from the start. We had enrolled Emma in another program and
were set to go. After one week in Delphi summer camp we realized that this was the
school for Emma. Her vocabulary has increased and she is reading already."

"As a parent of a Delphi student, I feel very privileged that my daughter Mariella
is a part of such an amazing and unique school.
"It is a school that brilliantly teaches every part of the program in a manner that
allows a child to feel confident, non competitive and capable of anything. Most
importantly, nothing is left misunderstood and each child is given the tools to
learn, understand and apply all the information 100%. They either know the information
100%, or they don't. There are no grades. Should a student miss something, it is
positively handled without criticism of that student's abilities, which is so often
visible in other educational situations. The misunderstood area is simply restudied
and carefully retested, whereupon the student moves onto the next level.
"Over and above the academics of the school, as a parent I have witnessed one of
the hardest, yet most important things we have to learn in life that is rarely,
if ever, taught to us in our educational environments, and that is to be independent
and completely responsible for one's actions. My daughter Mariella, now nearly 7,
knows how to successfully apply herself both individually and as part of a team
with respect and appreciation for those she is with. I can confidently say she has
the fundamental tools needed in life to successfully contribute and play her part
in any social situation.
"Parents of Delphi are encouraged and expected to play a vibrant role in their child's
education. This allows for a far greater chance that home life and school life are
successfully integrated, producing consistency in the life of each child.
"I watch Mariella with pride and am sincerely appreciative for the positive influence
Delphi continues to have on her development.
"I am confident that she will have the necessary social and academic tools to succeed
in whatever she chooses to do in her life as a result of this unique approach."
A.A.
"I know that it sounds melodramatic to say that I believe attending Delphi has changed
the course of my son's life forever, but it is the absolute truth. At his old school
he was headed down a path of mediocrity. A path where he was doing 'Fine. OK. Just
like the other boys.' Days described as 'Alright.' Visions of Bs and Cs, insecurity,
unfulfilled dreams, medications to control problems that don't exist and untapped
potential flashed before me. Delphi has changed all that. Now I truly believe my
son can and will do anything he wants with his life. He believes in himself. Really!
He no longer thinks he's 'medium,' but knows he is exceptional."
L. D.
"Since our daughter began learning at Delphi when she was 3 years old (she is now
4 1/2 years old), she has shown us how much she ENJOYS learning. Her enthusiasm
and pride are the smile on her face and her confidence. She has forged precious
relationships with her teachers who buoy her strengths and pay special attention
to the areas she needs help with. Her progress with reading is rapid and best yet,
it has opened doors that inspire her. She has learned addition and subtraction
and practices while driving in the car, reading a book, wherever she goes. We're
thrilled that she is in such a safe, close-knit, caring school."
S. L.
"I must say that looking back we have come a great distance, our little man is now
four and reading as well as a six year old. He is learning mathematical equations
and understanding at his level what it means to be morally ethical. We are extremely
proud of his progress with his Delphi Family."
